Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is done when the tooth becomes carious and the infection reaches the pulp, root apex and the surrounding bone.
Procedure: the treatment requires multiple sittings. In the first sitting, an opening is made in the tooth  and all the infectious pulp is removed. The canals are shaped and disinfected with the help of files and medicines.
In further sittings we wait for the lesion to heal and we keep changing the medicinal dressing that we put inside the tooth.
And in the last sitting when the infection heals completely, the final filling is done in the canals and call the patient for crown after a week or so.
